The Lonely Plover Social Club is a community-driven organization based in Lompoc, California that’s dedicated to bringing people together through creativity.
We create experiences that invite people to gather, make, explore, and connect; from the monthly Lompoc Art Walk to hands-on workshops, creative pop-ups, public art projects, and other community events.
We believe creativity belongs to everyone. Whether you're a lifelong artist, collector or supporter, our goal is to make creative experiences approachable, welcoming, and rooted in community.

The Lonely Plover Social Club creates opportunities for people to gather, make, explore, and connect through creative experiences. We believe creativity belongs to everyone, and we design welcoming events, workshops, and public programs that strengthen community, support local artists and businesses, and invite people to experience Lompoc in new ways.
Why the Lonely Plover?
The Lonely Plover Social Club is named after the western snowy plover, a tiny shorebird that's become part of Lompoc's story. It reminds us that the things that make a place unique are worth celebrating.
We strive to stay playful, care for the places we call home, and create opportunities for people to gather, make something together, and leave Lompoc a little more connected than they found it.
