Artists: Interested in showing your art?  We welcome creators from all backgrounds and styles! From paintings and photography to sculptures and live art, there’s a space for you to shine. Reach out directly to one of the participating businesses to arrange an exhibit, collaborate on interactive displays, or create live demonstrations that engage the public. We encourage artists to explore creative, immersive experiences that will leave an impact.

Businesses: Local businesses play a key role in hosting artists and adding to the vibrant, welcoming feel of the Art Walk. By hosting an artist exhibit in your space, you’ll be part of a unique experience that draws art lovers and new customers alike. Businesses are encouraged to contact local artists or the Art Walk team for tips on connecting with creatives.

Attendees: Stroll through downtown Lompoc and explore an array of art displays, meet the artists, and experience hands-on art demonstrations. Each Art Walk promises something fresh and exciting, with an inviting, community-driven atmosphere for all ages.

The First Thursday Art Walk is a reimagined event series that began with the Pot Mamas Social Club and now flourishes under the Lonely Plover Social Club. This dynamic celebration of creativity is supported by the incredible small businesses and artists that make up Downtown Lompoc.

Our mission is simple but impactful: to celebrate and elevate Lompoc’s vibrant arts community.

Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

For Businesses

  • Participation is optional each month—join as often as you’d like!

  • Businesses are responsible for locating their own artist(s) or featured shows for the Art Walk.
    (The Lonely Plover Social Club does not coordinate artists for you.)

  • To be included in promotional materials, submit your participation details through our online form by the deadline each month.

For Artists

  • Connect directly with local businesses to arrange your participation.

  • Ensure the business submits your details via our online form to be featured in promotional content.

General Guidelines

  • Promote creativity, inclusivity, and community connection.

  • Be respectful of participating venues, fellow artists, and attendees.

  • Share your enthusiasm for art and encourage others to join!
